Melyssa Connolly owner and illustrator
Hi my name is Melyssa Connolly aka croppixie. I live in Harmony (I love saying that!), Nova Scotia with my husband and 15 year old son. I’ve been drawing and doodling from the time I could hold a pencil. I started scrapbooking about 12 years ago when I would glue a photo on coloured paper and doodle around it. 2 years later I found the real art of scrapbooking when a local store started carrying supplies.
Four years after that I discovered digital scrapbooking and never looked back! Well that is until last year when I started card crafting. Now I have a new use for all my scrapbook supplies! Since then I’ve been on a few design teams such as ShortCuts, The Greeting Farm, Bombshell Stamps, Whiff of Joy and currently PSA Essentials. You will find me in my craft room the majority of the time with a stamp in one hand, glue in the other and either listening to books on tape or bopping along to some really good music. When I’m not drawing for Whimsie Doodles or paper crafting for DT gigs you’ll find me playing Wii sport with my family (I’m currently the hula hoop queen...LOL), biking (huffing and puffing the whole way) or going for a family walk that includes our dog Mirra. Hello! My name is Alicia Ekermans (a.k.a. crafty_al) and I am thrilled to have been chosen as a Doodlelicious Diva! Up until now I thought I had to create my own design teams to be on one (SheetLoad of Cards & SheetLoad ShortCuts) – hee hee.
I am currently a stay-at-home-mom to my 3.5 year old daughter and, as of October 31, 2009, I have been married to my husband for 10 years. To make some extra money, of which I spend most of it on new stamps, papers, inks, tools, etc., I am a contract print production artist for a local printing company. For a long time now I have considered myself ‘crafty’. From cross-stitching with my mom as a child, to taking my very first scrapbooking class in 1999, to my cardmaking (and craft-supply-buying) addiction I have now. Being able to get up to my craft room and create is like therapy for me. I look forward to sharing my creations with all of the current and soon-to-be Whimsie Doodles fans out there. Feel free to visit me at my blog. Tracy Schultz
My name is Tracy Schultz. I'm married to a wonderful man named Mike and
we live in western New York state. We have two crazy birds and a school
of fish that we call our own. I work as an IT
Specialist by day and love to craft by night. I've been officially
making cards since 2009, but my craft obsession started when I was
growing up. I enjoy the friendships I've made through
crafting and blogging. And I especially LOVE the sense of community and
inspiration it creates. I'd love for you to visit my blog here: http://whoistracy.com/myhead/

Being crafty is in my genes...literally! My granny has always been crafty and spending afternoons after school and summers with her as a kid totally rubbed off me (except for expert seamstress part--LOL!) I've always had the "I bet I can make that mentality", but I didn't really find my niche until I began scrapbooking my oldest son's baby book. Well, I thought it was my niche until it was time for his second birthday party and a good friend of mine introduced me to stamping! It has been a paper, ink and now digi lovefest ever since! I love participating in online challenges because it gets my creative wheels turning. But most of all, I love giving someone something I made myself! When I'm not papercrafting, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two little boys, watching all of the shows I DVR and doing crafts with the first graders at my son's school.

I am a social worker on a geriatric psych unit by day and mad
stamper by night. I am happily married to my husband of 11 years and
we have a 9 yo daughter and an 8 yo son. I have been stamping since the
spring of 2009 and I cannot believe how quickly my stash of stamping
supplies has grown. My stamping style has evolved with time and I would
now describe my style as clean but not necessarily simple. I am
completely hooked on coloring with Copics, I have been a big fan of the
images at Whimsie Doodles so I am thrilled to have been invited to be
part of this design team!
Thanks! Kim |
